Ener-Spray Group of Companies and is committed to providing the highest levels of quality and installation services for various types of insulation.
We offer the following types of insulation:
Polyurethane Spray Foam:
As pioneers in the spray foam industry with our extensive background in the construction industry, Ener-Spray has the qualifications and experience to recommend which product works best for different applications and budgets. Spray foam insulation pays for itself and generates savings in energy costs for the lifetime of your project, saving you up to 50% on your energy costs.
2lb Spray Foam:
2lb CCMC BASF Walltite commercial and residential spray foam.
2lb medium density Ener-Spray foam acts as a vapor barrier, insulation and air barrier all in one. 2lb foam adheres directly to the substrate forming a seamless and permanent coverage over and around even the most difficult shapes. It expands to 40 times its liquid volume as it expands, sealing cracks, joints, and protrusions such as brick ties. It forms a continuous insulating air barrier that remains for the life of the building. Typical R-values are 6.5 to 7 per inch, depending on thickness. This makes it one of the highest R-values per inch of any insulating material available. Ener-Spray foam helps reduce energy costs while improving building comfort as well as indoor air quality. Dust and other exterior pollutants cannot enter the building because of the continuous airtight seal.
2lb can be used on interior, exterior and below grade applications. Some examples are exterior envelope insulation jobs, interior insulation between stud walls, air seals, underground pipes and exterior foundation insulation. 2Ib does not require an additional vapor barrier when applied at the specified minimum depth. 2lb medium density spray foam is also a green product with a unique formula that contains no ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFCs, HCFCs, fibers, formaldehyde and asbestos. Once installed it never decomposes or deteriorates, there are no concerns about harmful fibers or gases escaping into the air in the future. 2lb. Ener-Spray foam also adds structural strength and increases shear and racking strength by 300% to a building.
2lb spray medium density spray foam qualifies for LEED credits and is an important element in building an energy efficient project. Ener-Spray has achieved the “Foam Master” certification through BASF.
2lb Industrial Class 1 spray foam:
2lb medium density Class 1 spray foam is specifically formulated for the industrial market and has specific testing and design attributes for this market to allow it to be used in Skids, tanks and other applications.
1/2lb Spray Foam:
1/2lb low density spray foam is spray-applied as a liquid and expands within seconds to 120 times its liquid volume. Typically used in residential applications such as cold floors over garages.
With an R value of 3.5 is is cost effective alternative to fiberglass insulation and offer the advantage of being an insulation and air barrier, thus sealing the building as well as insulating it. A huge benefit is the sound reductions quality and performance of 1/2lb low density foam It has excellent STC ratings and will work well in cases where the floor or wall has many pipes and ducts running in the area. Unlike many conventional insulations, time and temperature changes have no effect on R-value of spray foam insulation. 1/2lb. foam is non-toxic and has undergone extensive testing, meeting all building code requirements.
It is a green product developed with the environment in mind. Its unique water based formula contains no ozone-depleting chemicals, such as CFCs, HCFCs, fibers, formaldehyde and asbestos. Since it never decomposes or deteriorates there are no concerns about harmful fibers or gases escaping into the air in the future. 1/2lb. foam reduces airborne noise and dust making it the healthy choice for those who suffer from allergies, asthma or chemical sensitivity.
Thermoacoustic Glass-fibre Insulation
Thermoacoustic Glass-Fibre TC-417 is a non-combustible insulation that finds its most common application in commercial concrete slab such as parkade ceilings and exterior soffits and areas needing noise reduction. Glass-Fibre is a natural fire retardant and needs no additional thermal barrier. Ener-Spray is highly experienced in Glass-Fibre insulation having completed 300 large Commercial projects.
Spray Foam Insulation must be covered with a ULC listed thermal barrier when left exposed in an occupied space.
