2 lb. medium density spray foam is a versatile spray applied insulation, air seal and vapour barrier. It can be used in interior, exterior and below grade applications.

2 lb. foam foam acts as a vapour barrier, insulation and air barrier all in one. Its high compressive strength makes it ideal for below grade application where the closed cell will provide a waterproof and insulating shield. 2 lb. foam has a similar application process to that of ½ lb. foam. It adheres directly to the substrate forming a seamless and permanent coverage over and around even the most difficult shapes. However, it expands to 40 times its liquid volume as it seals cracks, joints, and protrusions such as brick ties. It forms a continuous insulating air barrier that remains for the life of the building. With one of the highest R-values per inch of any insulating material available, 2 lb. Ener-Spray foam helps reduce energy costs while improving building comfort as well as indoor air quality. Dust and other exterior pollutants cannot enter the building because of the continuous air tight seal.
